The HPI model 1075 Survey Meter is a dual channel instrument designed to measure penetrating and nonpenetrating radiation fields simultaneously. The detectors are back to back ionization chambers with different wall thicknesses built into a single detector unit.

External controls: Range switch with positions off, zero, 200, 20, and 2 rad/h, two zero controls, and a momentary light switch.

Detector
Type: Two air equivalent parallel plate ionization chambers. Chambers are guarded and unsealed.
